Had some drama with my webcam so this video is going to cut off. When it does proceed to Part two...
It's my first week of Half- marathon training. Yaaaay!! I am so excited. I love goals....like stuff to look forward too. It's awesome. The program is 12-weeks, I guess the idea is to ease you into a long run by strengthening your body and improving your endurance. You will notice that we are asked to run the longest on Sundays. That works for me and the boo because she is off on Sunday too. #score. Also, on some days we are supposed to cross train. That pretty means do something other than lift weights or run. I will probably do Zumba, or a workout video. This is what I am supposed to do this week:
M: Stretch and Strengthen
T: Run 3 miles
W: Run 2 miles OR Cross train*
Th: Run 3 miles and Strength
Friday: Not a damn thing!
Saturday: Cross train for 30 minutes
Sunday: Run 4 miles
Sounds pretty easy huh? Yea...cause it's week one lol. Anyhoo, I am impressed myself already this week.I have been fasting (eating only fruits, veggies and water) for the past 10 days but I still ran...in the rain on Tuesday lol. I knew I had to get my 3 miles in! By any means, dammit.
I love the running but I have to be honest I want to be in the best shape of my life on my 30th birthday...you know so I can wear some dental floss or some body paint at my party lol. So on the good stuff. My personal goal is to be 165 lbs and be able to run a 11-13 minute mile. This is where I am starting:
Weight: 170 lbs
Waist: 30 inches
Bust: 35.5 inches
Hips: 44.5 inches
Thighs: 25 inches (yea, so my thigh is only 5 inches smaller than my waist...is that a good thing?)Bicep: 12 inches (tiny arms lol)
Timed Mile on Treadmill: 12 minutes Timed Mile on Street: 15 minutes
Now that you know all my business...lol. Enjoy your week. See ya Sunday!
